Citrus County Clerk of Court

Marriage License Fees for Citrus County

The Citrus County marriage license fee is $86 without a premarital course. With an approved premarital preparation course certificate, the cost drops to $61. Section 741.0305 of the Florida Statutes provides this $25 reduction for couples who take the course within one year of applying. The course also eliminates the three-day waiting period that otherwise applies to Florida residents. So a couple from Citrus County who completes the course can apply and get married the same day.

Non-residents have no waiting period at all. No blood test is required to get a license in Citrus County. The license stays valid for 60 days under Section 741.041 and works in every county in Florida. Ceremonies at the clerk office run $30 in most counties. How to Get Citrus County Marriage Records
